Asphalt Paving project
Project Type: Asphalt Paving
Project Address: Heber City, UT
Project Description:
Our team recently completed a multi-phase asphalt paving and earthwork project for a residential property in Heber City, Utah. This project encompassed shaping, fine-grading, and paving a custom access road, an expansive private driveway, and a dedicated RV parking pad tailored to support heavy vehicular loads.
The project began with subgrade preparation and earthwork across the property. Our crew performed site clearing, shaping, and precision grading to establish structural subgrade slopes, ensuring effective water runoff away from surrounding residential structures and outbuildings. In mountain climates like Heber Valley, proper slope pitch and subbase compaction are vital to withstand seasonal freeze-thaw cycles, winter snow loads, and runoff erosion without subgrade settling.
Once the road base was layed, compacted, and proof-rolled, our crew installed a hot-mix asphalt (HMA) pavement surface layer. The main access road, main residential driveway, and RV parking area were paved using specialized asphalt laydown equipment to maintain uniform depth, seam alignment, and smooth transitions.
To achieve maximum density and a durable finish, we used dual-drum pneumatic vibratory rollers to compact the hot mix. The dedicated RV parking zone was engineered with an enhanced pavement depth profile specifically designed to distribute heavy wheel loads from recreational vehicles without rutting or surface deformation.
By combining site grading, proper drainage planning, and heavy-duty asphalt compaction, we delivered a smooth, long-lasting surface that enhances property accessibility and durability. This project highlights our technical precision in residential asphalt paving, custom road construction, and heavy-load surface engineering in high-altitude environments.
